What is a healthcare cash plan?
A healthcare cash plan
enables you to claim towards the everyday healthcare costs we all face. A cash
plan is not Private Medical Insurance (PMI) and is relevant to you even if you
already have a PMI policy. It is designed to help meet everyday healthcare
expenses, including some private treatments, but premiums are more than
affordable and there are no increases of premiums because of age, no medical
required and there are no 'no claims' deterrents!
How do healthcare
cash plans work?
They work by allowing you to pay a small, regular
monthly premium of £19.95 for a policy. Then when you pay for eligible
healthcare treatment the cost can be claimed back in part or in full to the
policy limits. This means that you can claim back for the cost of a pair of
glasses, contact lenses or a filling at the dentist. You can also claim money
for an extensive range of your expected or many unexpected healthcare
requirements. A HealthCard Plus cash plan does not restrict you to the number
of treatments you undertake, if necessary you could claim in every benefit
area.
