UNITY - helping those with Cystic Fibrosis
UNITY is the trading subsidiary of Gina’s Wish Foundation which
was inspired by the tragic loss of a much loved daughter, sister, aunt and
fiancee to Cystic Fibrosis. Gina (pictured above) lived her life to the best of
her ability, never complaining and always smiling. We are committed to
upholding the virtues and ideals that Gina lived by.
Facts About Cystic
Fibrosis (CF) - * CF affects more than 7,500 babies, children and young adults
in the UK. * 1 in 25 people in the UK is a carrier of the CF gene. * 5 more
babies with CF are born each week in the UK. * Approx. 1,500 of people with CF
are over the age of 25. * There is no cure for Cystic Fibrosis.
